David Nicholas Kozitza, age 60 of Lake Panasoffke, FL died Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL.
Visitation at Mankato Mortuary, Saturday, May 28, 2005 from 10"11 a.m. followed by a graveside service at St. Michaels Cemetery, Belgrade Township, Nicollet County with military honors.
David was born July 7, 1944 in Belgrade Township, Nicollet County to Kenneth and Loretta (Laven) Kozitza. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1962 and Mankato State University with a degree in accounting. He served in the US Army from October of 1962 to October of 1965.
David is survived by his son, Scott Kozitza of Zimmerman; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Kozitza of Mankato; four grandchildren, Jessica, Melanie, Corey and Jacob; sisters, JoAnne (Jim) Theissen of Lake Panasoffke, FL, Missy Manderfeld of Mankato; brothers, Thomas (June) Kozitza of Anoka, Dennis (JoAnn) Kozitza of Faribault, James (Diane) Kozitza of Thompson, IA, Patrick (Susan) Kozitza of Des Moines, IA and Gregory (Jill) Kozitza of Ashland, WI; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael in 2003, brothers, Paul and Kenneth Dick and a brother-in-law, Peter Manderfeld.
