Amy Amundson

Amy I. Amundson, age 97, of Shepherdstown, WV and formerly of Mankato, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in Shepherdstown.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, May 1, 2005 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mankato with burial following in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at church on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements are being handled by Mankato Mortuary.

Survivors include three children, Rachel (Dale) Pegel of Marshall, MN, Melva Jean (Clinton) Simpson of Martinsburg, WV, Allen Amundson of Anoka, MN; 12 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and 15 step great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister and two brothers.
