Bryant M. Warren, age 86, of Mankato, died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at his residence. Respecting his wishes, a private family service will be held, with scattering of his ashes in Naples, FL. Memorials may be given to the Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospice Program. Mankato Mortuary assisted the family with the arrangements.
Bryant was born on September 10, 1918 in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. He was the son of George and Lily (Thompson) Warren. Bryant was united in marriage to Dolores Frick on February 3, 1939 in Winnipeg, Canada. He attended NDAC and became an American citizen in 1941. During WWII, Bryant served with the U.S. Air Transport Command. In 1952, he moved with his wife and children to North Mankato. Bryant was employed as a sales representative in the agriculture industry. Following his retirement in 1975, he and Dolores moved to Naples, FL. Bryant was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mankato. He enjoyed gardening, and playing golf and tennis.
Bryant is survived by his wife, Dolores; a daughter and her husband, Ann and Fred Schmidt of Shelburne, VT; a son and his wife, George and Mary Warren of North Mankato; five grandchildren, Jenny and Tony Warren, Kate and David Schmidt, and Amy Turner; four great-grandchildren; one nephew, Ted Bolte of Minot, N.D.
