Kenneth E Jones

Kenneth E. Jones, age 89 of Lake Crystal (Judson) died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.

Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North Mankato, with Rev. Vance Becker officiating. Burial with military honors in Minneopa Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Tuesday.

Mr. Jones was born October 8, 1915 in Mankato to Edwin V. and Lillian (Anderson) Jones. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Ken was united in marriage to Marie Streich on June 7, 1952 in Sanborn, MN. Ken was a truck driver working for Swartout Construction, Kasota and Crysteel Manufacturing Inc., Lake Crystal. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North Mankato, D.A.V. of Mankato and the American Legion Post #294 of Lake Crystal. He enjoyed camping, computer games, playing cards and dominos.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; a daughter, Elizabeth Jones of Minneapolis; a son, Tim Jones of Lake Crystal.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
