Long time Mankato resident Adelinda A.Peters, age 88, died March 3, 2005 at Oaklawn Health Care Center.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Karl Voelker, S.J. officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary, with a Prayer Service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before services at the church on Monday. If so desired memorials may be given to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Loyola High School or Lourdes High School, Rochester.>

Adelinda was born June 14, 1916 in Blue Earth County to William H. and Rose (Reichel) Otto. She attended Catholic schools. She was united in marriage to Marvin William Peters on June 29, 1937 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. She had worked for Mankato State University for 37 years as a cashier in the food service. She was a life long member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking and being with family and friends.

Adelinda is survived by, a daughter and her husband, Rosemary and Dan Silver of Austin, TX; a son and his wife, Marv and Annette Peters of Rochester; grandchildren, Annette (Patrias) Krueger and her husband, Bryan of Lakeville, Jeff Patrias and his wife, Tressa of Eagan, Cathy (Silver) Wunrow and her husband, Dan of River Falls, WI, Brian Silver and his wife, Ruth of Elk River, Michael Silver and his wife, Mona of Austin, TX, Elissa (Peters) Nelson and her husband, Tom of Rochester, Jay Peters of Rochester; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother and his wife, William Jr.and Vi Otto of Mankato; two sisters and their husbands, Pat and Ray Roesch of Mankato, Marlene and Vince Thul of Vernon Center; son-in-law, George Patrias of Stillwater; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin in 1970 and daughter, Marlene (Peters) Patrias in 1992.
