Audrey Carol Miles, age 79 of Mankato died, February 12, 2005. Willard (Bill) Edward Miles, age 84 of Mankato, died February 14, 2005, as the result of an automobile accident on February 12, 2005.

Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Mankato with Rev. Pam Serdar officiating. Burial will be in Tivoli Cemetery in rural Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour before service at the church on Thursday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.

Audrey C. Miles, daughter of Allen and Opal (Wood) Halstead, was born on May 7th 1925, in Lynd/Russell area, MN. She was united in marriage to Willard E. Miles on June 29, 1946 in Marshall, MN. They moved to Mankato, and she worked at Mankato Corporation. Audrey enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, playing cards, and her family.

Willard (Bill) E. Miles, son of Charles and Meta (Hanson) Miles, was born March 27, 1920 in Bayard, Iowa. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1942 " 1946 in the Pacific during WWII. Willard worked for Hubbard Milling, Mankato Service and Christian Concern. He was a member of American Legion Post #11. Bill enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, working and his family.

Survived by three granddaughters, Michelle (Chris) Polston of Northfield, Heidi (David) Falk of New Ulm, and Jodi Gay of Mankato; three great-granddaughters, Lyndsey Gay, Kelsey Gay, and Ruby Polston all of Northfield; Audreys three sisters, Violet Allen of Lake Crystal, Leota (Donald) Allen of Alexandria, Shirley (Frank) Allen of Marshall and numerous relatives and friends. Willard was preceded in death by five brothers, Melvin, Maurice, Harold, Charles, and Leonard, a sister, Millie Richie and his parents. Audrey was preceded in death by three brothers, Lee, Alvin and Lester Halstead; three sisters, Inella Halstead, Ruth Buchert, Edith Reh and her parents.

Together in heaven, as they were on Earth.
