Alan Curtis Dahm, age 67, of Mankato, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 as the result of an automobile accident.
Memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday, February 14, 2005 at Hilltop United Methodist Church in Mankato with Rev. Randy Koppen officiating. Memorials may be given to Hilltop United Methodist Church or the donors choice. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Alan C. Dahm was born April 8, 1937 to Curtis and Lyla (Cooling) Dahm in Madelia. He graduated from Mankato Area Vocational School in North Mankato. Alan was united in marriage to Dee Ann Schleuder on August 30, 1958 in New Ulm. He was an electrician in the area for 30 years. Alan was an active member of Hilltop United Methodist Church in Mankato where he served as trustee and on the building committee. He was also a member of the Mankato Moose Lodge. Alan enjoyed working and spending time at Lake Francis.
He is survived by his wife, Dee of Mankato; three sons, Timothy (Rachel) Dahm of Mankato, Douglas (Pam) Dahm of Mound, Ted Dahm and special friend, Amelia Wong of Orono; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Renee, Jack, and Grace; two brothers, William Bill (Barb) Dahm of Madelia, Dave (Pat) Hardy of Mankato; half sisters, Ann (Frank) Wach of Chicago, Tracy (Jim) Wesseloh of Grand Rapids, Rose Dahm of New London; brother-in-law, Bob Hollenhorst of Duluth; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carole.
