Anna Marie "Sis" Hauch, age 79, of Mankato, died Monday, September 24, 2012, at Autumn Grace Senior Services.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Private family burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is handling the arrangements. Memorials are preferred to Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Diabetes Association, or donor's choice.
Anna was born on July 2, 1933, to Frank and Ida (Tatge) Bauer in Mankato. She was a 1951 graduate of Good Counsel Academy. Anna was united in marriage to Norman Hauch on April 23, 1955, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Together they were blessed with 2 sons and a daughter. Anna worked for National Bank of Commerce, H & C Electric, and spent 18 years with Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital before retiring in 1993. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Morson-Ario VFW Post 9713 Ladies Auxiliary, and American Legion Post 11 Auxiliary. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, Red Hat Club, Card Club, and fishing.
Anna is survived by her two sons and their wives, David (Kelly) of Lakeville and Roger (Lila) of St. Clair; one daughter, Donna of Mankato; 6 grandchildren, Cody, Brandon, Tanner, Emily, Haley, and Brady; brothers, Clarence (Mary) Bauer of Mankato and Anthony (Janice) Bauer of Mankato; 3 sister-in-laws, Phyllis Statham, Vivian Erickson, and Jean Bauer; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman in 2003; and 2 brothers, Joseph and George Bauer.
