Zachary Ryan Abdo, age 20, of North Mankato, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Mankato from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato, with Rev. Peter Nosbush officiating. Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Zak was born on July 15, 1992, in Mankato to Timothy and Judith (Yenter) Abdo. He was a 2010 graduate of Mankato West High School. Zak was currently attending South Central College in North Mankato where he was majoring in computer programming and was a writing tutor. He was also employed with Cinemark Movies 8 Theatre. Zak was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enjoyed baseball, hockey, golfing, fishing, frisbee golf, gaming, motorcycle rides, and spending time with his friends. Zak had an easy-going nature and a smile for everyone. We feel so blessed to have had 20 years with you Zak!

Zak is survived by his parents, Tim and Judy Abdo of North Mankato; sister, Aisha Abdo; maternal grandparents, Paul and Joan Yenter of St. Peter; paternal grandfather, Dave Ahl of Mankato; also many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Beverly Ahl and paternal grandfather, William Abdo.
