Lucille "Fritzie" G. Evenson, age 93 of Lake Crystal, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 surrounded by family at Oaklawn Health Care Center in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Northview " North Mankato Mortuary in North Mankato. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at Northview on Wednesday.
Lucille was born April 27, 1919 to August and Alma (Schaffenberg) Wussow in Mankato, Minnesota. She was married to Juel Nielsen, they later divorced. Lucille was married to Clifford Evenson, Clifford died in 2000. She was a homemaker for her family. Lucille enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and crafts. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Butternut, Minnesota.

Lucille's four children survive her, Barbara Diane Ramsey of Middleton, WI, Richard (Bonnie) Nielsen of Custer, WI, Judith (Joe) Nemo of Alexandria, MN and Joyce Nielsen Arlington, MN; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Gloria (Gary) Klinkner of New Ulm, MN, Nancy (Burt) Sorgatz of Lake Crystal, MN, and Mary Oswald of Minnetonka, MN; sister, Shirley Wurscher of Marshall, MN; sister-in-law, Donna Wussow of Alexandria, MN; nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by parents, husband, Clifford; infant daughter, Susan Marie; infant son, James Michael; sister, Sally Nielsen; brother, Roger Wussow; and granddaughter, Jennifer Williams.
