Renee Marie Forseth, age 47, of North Mankato, died unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Belgrade Ave. United Methodist Church, North Mankato with Rev. Dan Horn, officiating. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato and will continue one hour before service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to an organization of the donor's choice.

Renee Marie was born September 2, 1964 to E. William and Margaret (Morris) James in Mankato. She graduated from Garden City High School in 1983. She graduated from Mankato State University in 1988 with a degree in business. Renee was united in marriage to Richard Forseth on June 21, 1986 at Belgrade Ave. United Methodist Church. She was employed by Johnson Law Office, Mankato for 20 years and was currently employed in the Land Records Office of Blue Earth County for the last 10 years. Renee was active in the Wellcome Memorial Alumni Association, Garden City as treasurer, the Monroe " Garfield School PTO, and many other volunteer activities. She enjoyed collecting Longaberger Baskets, Precious Moments Figurines, and spending time with her family.

Renee is survived by her husband, Richard of North Mankato; two children, Lukas Forseth of St. Paul and Lyssa Forseth of North Mankato; parents, E. William "Bill" and Margaret James of Garden City; brother, William T. "Billy" James of Lake Crystal; grandfather, Lyle Roberts of Mankato; aunts, uncles, great-aunts and uncles; and many extended family.

Renee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett James, LuElla (McMonagle) James Roberts, Thomas and Mae (Othoudt) Morris.
