Gloria E Giese

Gloria Elsa Giese, age 84, of Lake Crystal, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Crystal Seasons in Lake Crystal.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Saturday, at Lake Crystal Mortuary, 648 S. Main St., Lake Crystal and will continue one hour before service at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary on Sunday. Burial will be in Lake Crystal Cemetery.

Gloria was born April 20, 1929 to George and Elsa (Krueger) Schneeberger in Willow Creek, Minnesota. She graduated from Amboy High School in 1947. Gloria married Charles F. Giese on October 17, 1948 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Willow Creek. Gloria was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and caring for her family and her husband, Charles.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Charles F. Giese of Lake Crystal; four children, Kenny (Kathy) Giese of Roseville, CA, Joni (Ken) Anderson of Spring, TX, Roger (Diane) Giese of Caledonia, MN, and Ron (Terri) Giese of Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Viola Schneeberger of Sacramento, CA and Marilyn Schneeberger of Willow Creek, MN; several nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gordon and Raymond.
