Albert J. Juliar, age 68, of rural St. Clair, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at his home with his family at his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2005 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair with Rev. Syl Brown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 " 5 p.m., Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Monday. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.
Albert Junior Juliar was born July 10, 1936 to Lawrence and Lydia (Hagemeister) Juliar in Decoria Township, Blue Earth Co., MN. He was united in marriage to Beverly LeBrun on August 27, 1959 at the parish house of Immaculate Conception Church in St. Clair. Albert farmed all of his life. He also did custom corn shelling for many years. Albert was a member of the Farmers Union and joined Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Clair on August 25, 2004. Albert loved to go on summer and winter fishing trips with family and friends. Hunting with his sons was also a passion of his. He was very generous and giving person and enjoyed helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; their 12 children, Jim (Sharon) Juliar of St. Clair, Janet (Andy) Walechka of LeCenter, Jerome (Brenda) Juliar of Mapleton, Jeanne (Gerald) Schwanz of St. James, Nick (Joleen) Juliar of Mankato, Joe (Lori) Juliar of Red Wing, John (Shelly) Juliar of Mankato, Judy (John) Karels of Good Thunder, Joyce (Mike) Hummer of Pemberton, Jeff Juliar of St. Clair, Albert Juliar Jr. of Mankato, Dean (Jen) Juliar of St. Clair; 28 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lila (Albert) Jongbloedt, Mary Page all of Janesville; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Merle; two brothers-in-law, Francis Page and DeLano LeBrun; and one nephew.
