Ralph D. Danberry, age 65 of Mapleton, MN died Tuesday evening, January 25, 2005 at his home.
Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mankato Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor John Michel officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at the mortuary on Saturday.
Ralph was born October 21, 1939 in Madison Lake, MN to Truman E. and Daisy Mae (Carpenter) Danberry. He was united in marriage to Sandra Simning on July 15, 1961 in St. Peter. He had worked for 40 years in construction, being employed by Bruns & Mundahl Construction and Krediet Construction Co. He built his own home in Mapleton. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Sandra; a daughter, Angela (Ben) Wobschall of Blue Earth; a son, Jeff (Beth) Danberry of Mankato; six grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Justin, Chelsea, Heather and Jessica; three great-grandchildren; Ruby, Emerald and Zoey; three sisters, Stasia (Greg) Miller of Owatonna, Violet Washena of Owatonna, Marcella (Paul) Armendariz of Janesville; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.
