Irma M. Seys, age 89, of Mankato died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at Oaklawn Health Care Center, Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Clair, with Rev. Syl Brown officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Clair, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before services at the church on Saturday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Irma was born June 15, 1915 in Mankato to Alois and Pharailde (Willaert) Jongbloedt. She was united in marriage to Henry L. Seys on October 30, 1939 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Mankato; he died June 29, 2001. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for her family. Irma was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of St. Clair and had a deep faith in her church. She enjoyed her family, gardening, baking, canning, and praying the Rosary.

She is survived by eight sons, Raymond Seys, Jim Seys, Rick (Patsy) Seys, Roger (Susan) Seys, Randy (Laurie) Seys, all of Mankato, Stan (Jan) Seys, of Waseca, Dennis (Catherine) Seys of St. Clair, Paul (Nancy) Seys of Janesville; four daughters, Margie (Mike) Hoppe of St. Clair, Susan (Louis) Schweim of Pemberton, Judy (David) Farm of LeCenter, Joyce (Mark) Gens of Mankato; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice (Charlotte) Jongbloedt of New Richland, Albert (Lila) Jongbloedt of Janesville; a sister, Selma (David) Lynch of Pemberton; nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; son, Francis; granddaughter, Brianna; two sisters, Sr. Barbara Ann Jongbloedt and Leona Seys
