Pamela L (Evenson) Brooks

Pamela L. (Evenson) Brooks, age 57 of Glencoe and formerly of Mankato, died Monday, August 4, 2008 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2008 at Mankato Mortuary with Pastor David Erickson officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5 " 8 p.m., Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and continue one hour before the service on Friday. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
Pamela L. Brooks was born May 12, 1951 in China Lake, CA to Vernon and Maurine (Hammond) Evenson. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1969 and from Augsburg College in St. Paul. She was currently working for Imagine Print Solutions in Shakopee, MN. Formerly she worked for American Spirit Graphics, and Park Nicollet Medical Center. Pam enjoyed travel, music, art and reading and spending times with family.
She is survived by her son, Nathan (Kellie) Brooks of Cambridge, MN; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Katelyn, and Patrick; mother and her husband, Maurine (Harold) Hage of Hanska; two sisters, Paula (David) Erickson of Council Bluffs, IA, Patrice (Chuck) Parsons of Mankato; life partner, Darrel Beste of Glencoe, MN; former husband, Gary Brooks of Sandstone, MN; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, Vernon.
