Patricia (Patty) Jane Raddatz, 58, of Eagle Lake, MN, died July 5, 2008, as a result of an auto accident near Nicollet MN.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on November 21, 2008 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato. Visitation will be held after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to organizations of the family's choice.

Patty was born on August 13, 1949 in Winnebago, MN to James and June (Peterson) Baxter. After graduating from Winnebago High School in 1967, Patty attended Mankato State University. Her friendly outgoing manner made her stand out in the job market. Patty began work at Stokely Van Camp in Winnebago where she met her life long friend and later to be husband Mark. She then worked for 2 years at Bjorkman's in Minneapolis up until her marriage to Mark John Raddatz on April 24, 1971 in Winnebago, MN. Patty traveled with Mark overseas to several Naval stations including the Azores and Hawaii. After active Naval duty they made their home in Eagle Lake MN. Patty worked at Carlson Craft, Eagle Express and more currently at the Mankato Clinic. She was also a member of the Eagle Lake City Council. Patty had a strong faith in God and attended Hosanna Lutheran Church with her family. Her favorite hobbies were listening, reading, homemaking, decorating and gardening. She loved to plan a party and always wanted everyone to have fun.

Patty is survived by her husband Mark, son, Eric, 3 sisters, Joan (Gary) Johnson, Cleveland, MN, Kathy (Roger) Satre, Frost, MN, Joyce Peterson, Naples, FL, 1 brother, Doug (Lola) Baxter, Winnebago, MN, 1 brother-in-law Marty (Mary) Raddatz Staples MN, 1 sister-in-law, Marcia (Mark) Longcor, New Ulm, MN , father-in-law and mother-in-law Ivan and Carolyn Raddatz, New Ulm MN, 9 nieces, 3 nephews, 10 grand nieces and 6 grand nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents James and June Baxter.
