Bonnie Lou Duffield

Bonnie Lou Duffield, age 82 of Belle Plaine, died Friday, July 4, 2008 at The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday July 12, 2008 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Mankato with Rev. Peter Nosbush officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Saturday at Calvary Cemetery Chapel. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie was born on March 22, 1926 to Bert and Marjorie (Johnson) Duffield in Mankato. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She liked Minnesota sports teams and knitting.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Nancy (Smetana) and Orval Marquardt of North Mankato; five nephews: Jeff and Jill Marquardt, Joel and Loree Marquardt, Gregg Marquardt, James Marquardt, and Scott and Teresa Marquardt; great nieces and nepehews; and one great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Anthony Smetana.
