Brad VanGuilder

Brad VanGuilder, age 55, of Mankato, died on Friday, June 13, 2008 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Betty Johnson officating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the mortuary. Private family burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato.

Brad was born on April 29, 1953 in Mankato to Earl and Charlotte (Ferguson) VanGuilder. On June 26, 1971 Brad was united in marriage to Peggy Mickelson. In 1974 he started his own business, Brad's Auto Parts. Brad enjoyed fishing, baseball, 50's and 60's music, car shows, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughter, Kristin (Robert) Klein; son, Terry and fiancee Joy Sheppard; grandchildren, Michael and Eryn Klein and Brayden VanGuilder; mother, Charlotte; siblings: Ron (Eleanor), Sharon Huggins, Dick VanGuilder, Susan Uhde, and Mark Wilmes. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Sandy, and brother-in-law, Dean.
