Reuben Paul Holle, age 84, of Mankato, died Monday, November 8, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or to an organization of the donors choice.
Reuben was born January 17, 1920 in Breman, Kansas to Edward and Marie (Stettnisch) Holle. He graduated from New Ulm High School. On March 20, 1946, he married Esther Bublitz in New Ulm. Reuben was employed with Hubbard Milling Company for over 30 years and retired in 1983. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Reuben enjoyed woodworking, gardening, cooking, and traveling.
Reuben is survived by his wife, Esther Holle of Mankato; son, Dennis Holle and wife, Linda of Rosemount; daughter, Dorothy Ybarra and husband, Pete of Mankato; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Joanne Bolduc; three brothers; and one sister.
