Harry R Visher

Harry R. Visher, age 92, of Lake Crystal died Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center in Lake Crystal.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church, Lake Crystal, with Rev. Jerry David officiating. Burial in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at Lake Crystal Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Monday.

Mr. Visher was born December 17, 1911 in Hospers, Iowa to John and Winnie (Boersma) Visher. Harry was united in marriage to Edith I. Patterson on April 12, 1944 in North Mankato. Edith died in 1976. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He farmed all of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Crystal. He enjoyed watching television, reading and playing cards.

Harry is survived by a daughter Janet (Robert) Hoffman of Mankato; two sons, Raymond Visher of Hutchinson, Steven (Kris) Visher of Lake Crystal; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther (William) Zinke of rural Lake Crystal; a brother, Wesley (Carol) Visher of Madelia; nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and a grandchild.
