Scott Michael Wilhelm, age 22 of North Mankato died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Mankato, with Rev. Richard Colletti officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before services at the church on Thursday. Memorials may be given to the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program.
Scott was born May 13, 1982 in Mankato to Skip and Laurie (Gillson) Wilhelm. Soctt graduated from Mankato West High School in 2000 and South Central Technical College in 2002 with a certificate in Automotive Service. He was a service representative for Tow Distributing Co., Mankato. He had a strong faith and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Scott enjoyed designing and installing car stereos, wookworking, riding his four wheeler, cruising in his Corvette, helping people and spending time with family and friends. Scott was a loving son and a great brother . He will be deeply missed by all.
Scott is survived by his parents, Skip and Laurie Wilhelm, two brothers, John and Joe Wilhelm; maternal grandparents, Howard and Arline Gillson all of North Mankato; paternal grandmother, Dode Wilhelm of Sherburn; aunts and uncles, Marlene Cain of Sherburn, Carole Wilhelm of Estherville, IA, Linda and Ron Swanson of Mankato, Mark and Sharon Wilhelm of Seattle, WA, Norrie Gillson of Hopkins and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tony Wilhelm and two uncles.
