Although Bob and Jo lived in Bloomington for over 30 years, they also had a home on Madison Lake (built by Bob) where they retired. They enjoyed vacations at this location since 1954, until it became their permanent home. Bob will be remembered as the always willing to help neighbor. He loaned out tools, his truck, and used his expertise on many projects. Neighbor kids brought him flat bike tires, swimming tubes to be inflated, bird nests, snakes, frogs, turtles, and stray animals for his assistance.
He enjoyed fishing, skin diving, swimming, water skiing and riding his Big Red three-wheeler and John Deere lawn tractor. He played cards, walked dogs, watched over others homes and visited with his many friends. We will miss him. Oh how well miss him " Big Bob, everybodys friend.
