Kathleen Marie Brennan, age 48, of Madison Lake, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina after a year of battling leukemia.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Mankato with Rev. Paul D. Ficzeri officiating. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery, rural Mankato. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Kathleen Marie Brennan was born July 10, 1956 in Mankato to Rodney and Norma (Davis) Groth. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 1974 and later from SCTC in North Mankato. She married John Brennan on November 11, 1978 and was later divorced. Kathy was an ESL Para Professional at Mankato East High School, where she loved working with her students and co-workers. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Mankato. She enjoyed her crafts, flowers, especially pansies, and she loved to shop!
She is survived by her two sons, David Brennan of Mankato, Cody Brennan of Madison Lake; parents, Rod and N. Terry Groth of Mankato; three sisters, Susan Jones of Mankato, Pamela (Ron) Eccles of North Mankato, Joleen (Steve) Mills of Telephone, TX; aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her grandparents, an uncle, and a nephew.
