Caroline I. Wiebold, age 71 of Minneapolis formerly of Mankato died Sunday, October 10, 2004 at the University Good Samaritan Home in Minneapolis.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato with Rev. Karl Voelker, S.J. officiating Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services at church on Thursday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Caroline was born November 26, 1931 in Mapleton to Arthur and Elsie (Radtke) Proehl. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Wiebold in Rochester on February 13, 1950. She had worked for Mankato Corporation and Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in the housekeeping dept. Caroline was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Moose Club. She enjoyed bowling, walking, listening to country western music, and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Lynn (Dennis) Volk of Mankato, Cindy Louise (Gary) Froemel of Good Thunder, Deneen (Mark) Santaguida of Littleton, CO; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Elnora Behnke of Good Thunder, Lorraine (Archie) Ford of New Ulm; a brother, Laverne Proehl of Mapleton; nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Kenneth.
