Eric Santee

Eric Bryant Santee, age 35 of Mankato, and formerly of Nashua, Iowa, died Monday, September 20, 2004 as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2004 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Charles City, IA. Visitation will be held from 4"8 p.m., Friday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, IA. Memorials may be given to the donors choice.

Eric B. Santee was born August 25, 1969 to Max and Frances (Overturf) Santee in Charles City. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1987 where he was an active weight lifter and played football. He graduated from NIACC in 1989 with an Electronic Technician degree. Eric was united in marriage to Terri Jacobson on April 29, 1989 at the United Methodist Church in Nashua. They renewed their vows for their 15th Anniversary on May 1, 2004 in Clear Lake, IA. He worked for Farmland Industries for over 13 years and most recently for Enterprise Products for the last year.

Eric enjoyed riding his Harley, spending time with his wife Terri and their dog Bear. He also was a big Iowa Hawkeye fan.

He is survived by his wife, Terri of Mankato; his dog, Bear; parents, Max and Frances Santee of rural Nashua, IA; two brothers, Scott (Nona) Santee of Old Hickory, TN, Monte (Lisa) Santee of Albert Lea, MN; sister, Angela (John) Marvin of Charles City, IA; father-in-law, Edward Jacobson; sister-in-law, Jody Jacobson all of Charles City, IA; two brothers-in-law, Kevin Jacobson, Randy (Andrea) Jacobson all of Mason City, IA; niece, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents and mother-in-law.
