Erma Loucks

Erma Alene Loucks, age 94, of North Mankato, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at her home.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in North Mankato, with Armond Lundholm officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Mankato. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Mankato Mortuary.

Erma was born May 2, 1912 to Clay and Alma (Bobbit) Jenkins in Missouri. Erma attended Mankato High School. She was united in marriage to James Loucks in 1928. Erma was a homemaker for her family and assisted with the family farm. Erma was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, North Mankato, where she was very active and loved to share her faith and Bible truths with others. Erma enjoyed gardening and flowers, sewing, dancing, painting and art, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Erma is survived by her son, Richard Bud Loucks and wife, Nancy of rural North Mankato; daughter, Dixie Krengel and husband, Roger of Mankato; six grandchildren, Janie Burch and husband, Dale of San Jose, CA, Mark Loucks of North Mankato, Dennis Loucks of rural North Mankato, Julie Gustafson and husband, Michael of North Mankato, Heidi Strobel of Waseca, Kevin Krengel and wife, Kristel of North Mankato; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Bernice Hart of Grants Pass, OR; many nieces and nephews.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James in 1982; brother, Merrill Jenkins.
