Lois Louise Schutte, age 77, of North Mankato, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at her home.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North Mankato, with Rev. Vance Becker, officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family immediately following the service at church. Private family burial will be in Union Cemetery, Mapleton. Memorials may be given to Blue Earth County Humane Society. Mankato Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Lois was born November 19, 1928 to Arthur and Cora (Lentz) Schutte in Mankato. She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1947 and then attended Mankato Commercial College. After college Lois moved to California. Lois was employed by the engineering firm of Holmes and Narver of Fullerton for 40 years as a payroll supervisor. Upon her retirement in 1994 Lois returned to Mankato. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Lois enjoyed reading, downhill skiing, sewing and her cats.
Lois is survived by her sister, Phyllis (Art) Rosin of Mankato; three nieces, Jill (Tom) Beerling of Mankato, Lori (Marty) Frederick of Chaska, Joni (Rick) McCluhan of Mankato; nephew, Gary (Denise) Rosin of Sartell and their families and many cousins.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents and special friend, Harry Pat Pattison.
