Donna M Honken

Donna M. Honken, age 76, of Lake Crystal, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale, MN.

Memorial service 2:00 p.m, Saturday, April 29, 2006, at the First Methodist Church, Lake Crystal with Rev. Dean Nosek, officiating. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. A time of visitation with the family will follow the service. Lake Crystal Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Donna was born January 25, 1930 to Melville and Rhoda (Skobba) Frisvold. She was united in marriage to Edward A. Honken on September 16, 1950 at East Chain, Minnesota. Donna was a homemaker for her family and a member of the First Methodist Church of Lake Crystal. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Dragan and her husband, Dave of Corcoran; three grandchildren, Shawn (Erica) Honken of Mankato, Travis (Andrea) Dragan of Coon Rapids, Tyler Dragan of Corcoran; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Melda (Duane) Burnett, Avis Moon all of Lake Crystal, Phyllis (Leo) Splinter of Rapid City, S.D., Carol Urban of Aurora; sisters-in-law, Andrea Wolvoord of Winnebago, Merna (John) Karels of Blue Earth, Mina Lowman of Winnebago.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward in 2004; son Michael, granddaughter, Shanda Jonassen; sister, Norma Jacobson.
