David Nesheim

David Mark Nesheim, age 38, of North Mankato and formerly of Los Angeles, CA died Monday, April 24, 2006 at his home in North Mankato.

A private service for immediate family only will be held on Saturday, April 29 at Mankato Mortuary. A memorial service will be held in mid-June. Memorials may be sent to the Shawn Mead Scholarship Trust Fund at US Bank, 204 South Second Street, Mankato.

David was born in Minneapolis on June 22, 1967. He immediately became the foster child of Glen and Sylvia Nesheim, then of Bloomington. He was later adopted by the Nesheim family and lived with them in Bloomington, Green Bay, WI and North Mankato. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1985. He took classes at Mankato State University and did some local modeling work before leaving for Los Angeles in 1989 to pursue an acting and modeling career.

David did some minor acting work in television and movies, as well as some modeling work and dancing before returning to North Mankato in August of 2005.

He is survived by his son, Shawn Mead of North Mankato; mother, Sylvia (Wels) Nesheim of North Mankato; four siblings, Susan (Dwight) Allbee of Waverly, IA, Steven Nesheim of Minneapolis, Toni Nesheim (Denny Salomonson) of Grayslake, IL, John (Marie) Nesheim of Shanghai, China; five nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen T. Nesheim and a niece, Rachel M. Salomonson.
