Evelyn M. Haslip, age 90, of North Mankato, died Thursday April 13, 2006 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness in North Mankato. Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Kingdom Hall. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Evelyn was born on September 6, 1915 to Wilber and Alice (Harold) Addleman in Garden City, MN. She was married to Ervin Haslip on July 3, 1940 at the Little Brown Church in Sibley, Iowa . Evelyn was very active with the Jehovahs Witnesses. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, art, drawing horses, riding horses, gardening and playing cards.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Sherrie) Haslip of St. Peter, Ronald (JoAnne) Haslip of Waterville, Gregory (Mary) Haslip of Oregon, and Karen (Tim) Beech of Sleepy Eye; grandchildren, Lori Langsweirdt of University Place, WA, Zane Watts of Mapleton, Bret Haslip of St. Peter, Wade Haslip of St Anthony, Ryan (Andrea) Haslip, Yvette Halip both of Andover, Janean (Ron) Wolf of Waterville, Darrel Haslip of San Francisco, Jason Haslip of Illinois, James (Allison) Haslip of San Clemente, CA, Jana (Justin) Hodge of Laredo, TX, Samantha Haslip of Wateville, Ricky Haslip of Oregon, and Grant (Heather) Romberg of Sleepy Eye; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin in 1984, and her parents.
