Kaye M McKillip

Kaye M. McKillip, age 57, of Mankato died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Immanuel St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Mankato Mortuary, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Burial will be held at a later date.

Kaye was born on December 6, 1948 to Floyd and Betty (Mitchell) Wennersten in Sioux City, IA. She graduated from high school in 1966 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was married to Sam McKillip on July 5, 1969 at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. For many years she worked as a custodian at area schools. She enjoyed watching her kids play hockey, playing with her grandson, needlework, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by husband, Sam of Good Thunder; three sons, Sam McKillip of Good Thunder, Andy McKillip of North Mankato, and KC McKillip of Mankato; one grandson, Joseph McKillip of Good Thunder; mother, Betty Wennersten of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Jim (Linda) Wennersten of Scottsdale, AZ, and Robert (Mary) Wennersten of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Jeanne (Noah) Tilghman of Fairfield, CA; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.
