Corine Irene Loeffler, age 57 of rural St. Clair, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato, with Rev. Norman Greve of Salem Lutheran Church, Eagle Lake officiating. Burial in Tivoli Cemetery, rural Mankato. Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm Sunday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to ARC (Association of Retarded Citizens), American Cancer Society or an organization of the donors choice.
Corine was born December 8, 1946 in Mankato to Raymond and Irene (Frase) Frank. She graduated from St. Clair High School. She also graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Naeve Hospital Nursing Program in Albert Lea. She was united in marriage to Harold S. Loeffler on December 16, 1967 in Eagle Lake. She was a homemaker for her family and also had worked as an RN for 6 years at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, where she was active as a Sunday School teacher, Bible School teacher, and in Ladies of Salem. She also was a member of ARC and a former treasurer. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sporting events and spending time with her grandchildren.
Corine is survived by her husband, Harold; three sons, Brian (Shelly)Loeffler of rural St. Clair, Brad (Stephanie) Loeffler of rural Eagle Lake, Bruce Loeffler of Chaska; four grandchildren, Jessica, David, Thomas, and Courtney; mother, Irene Frank of St. Clair; a sister, Carol(Jerome) Johnson of rural Eagle Lake; nephews and nieces. Corine was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Frank.
