Elvina F. Williams, age 78, of Lake Crystal died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital, Mankato.

Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church, Lake Crystal, with Rev. Randal Lubbers officiating. Burial in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Lake Crystal Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Thursday.
Elvina was born in Slayton, MN on July 31, 1926 to August and Annie (Hill) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Merlyn Williams on August 8, 1953 in Slayton, MN.
After her husbands death, she worked for Monroe Trucking for 15 years and later as a office aid at Lake Crystal Elementary School, for eight years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Crystal and the Presbyterian Women. She enjoyed visiting family and friends.
Elvina is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Jim) Ackermann of Ellensburg, WA, Karen (Brad) Kollmann of Northfield, Laurie Williams of Lake Crystal; a son, Ted (Diane) Johnson of Windom; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister.
