Jaime Roca Alsina

Jaime Jaume Roca Alsina, age 84, life-long resident of Terrassa (Barcelona), in Catalonia, Spain, died Sunday, July 11, 2004 in Mankato while on vacation visiting his son and daughter-in-law. Funeral services were held on Monday, July 12, at Mankato Mortuary. An additional service will take place in Terrassa later this week. Memorials are preferred to VINE Faith In Action, Mankato.

Jaume was born on October 15, 1919. He was the son of Joan Roca Trias and Antonia Alsina Riera. Jaume was united in marriage to Margarita Rod Cami on May 16, 1951.

Jaume is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margarita Rod of Terrassa; three sons, Joan and his wife, Elaine Lilly of Mankato, and Lluis and Jordi of Terrassa; one daughter, Lourdes and her husband, Josep of Terrassa and their children, Oriol, Anna, and Mariona; and one older brother, Lluis of Terrassa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Miquel.
