David J. Engelsrud, age 60, of Bellingham, WA, formerly of Mankato, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at his home in Bellingham.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

David was born on May 26, 1952 to Ernest and Pearl (Moen) Engelsrud in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1970. David served in the United States Marines. He lived in Bellingham, WA for several years and worked at the Bayside Caf" for 20 years.

David is survived by his father, Ernie of Mankato; brother, Larry (Terry) of North Mankato; sister, Barbara (Jim) Bennett of Owatonna; and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2008.
