Jared R Smasal Jr.

Jared Ryan Smasal, Jr. was born with no heartbeat on June 21, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

A private prayer service will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota.

Jared Ryan Jr. is survived by his parents, Jared and Jessica Smasal of North Mankato; grandparents, Denny and Joyce Findley and Frank and Dianne Smasal, all of Madison Lake; uncles and aunts, Scott and Lysandra Findley of Wichita Falls, TX and Tara and Paul Lebens of Mankato; one great-grandmother, Doris Healy of Mapleton; one great-grandfather, Harold Braulick of New Ulm. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Craig Smasal, three great-grandmothers, and three great-grandfathers.

Jared and Jess continue to love this baby, and the love for him will be reflected in the lives of their future children, nieces and nephews. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
