Ann Mae Iverson, age 88, of Mankato died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital, Mankato.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mary Iverson officiating. Interment in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation is one hour before services at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. If so desired memorials may be given to VINE or Hilltop Neighbors Program.
Ann was born October 5, 1915 in rural Otisco, MN to Alfred A. and Elfrieda O. (Pomranning) Kampen. She grew up in the Otisco area and did housekeeping as a young girl. Ann was united in marriage to Jermit Iver B. Iverson on April 10, 1944 in Austin, MN. They lived in Waseca until moving to Mankato in 1957. Ann and her husband Iver ran Ivers Mobil Service Station for many years. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, dancing, and her grandchildren.
Mrs. Iverson is survived by two children, Carol (Ed) Pelowsky of Cross Plains, WI, Gary (Kathy) Iverson of Garden City; four grandchildren, Mark Pelowsky of Mazomanie, WI, Melissa Iverson of McComb, IL, Heather Iverson of Mankato, Stacie Iverson of Minneapolis; three sisters, Minnie Krueger of New Richland, Gladys Webb of LaCrosse, WI, Freda Schlaak of Faribault; a brother, George (Lucille) Kampen of New Richland; many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990 and three brothers.
