Carolyn E Daly

Carolyn Evonne Daly, age 60 of Mankato died early Tuesday morning, June 8, 2004, at her home.

Time of remembrance will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at her residence. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospice Program. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn was born November 11, 1943 in Dubuque, Iowa and was adopted by Daniel and Bernice (Lambert) Flood. She graduated from Garner High School, Garner, IA in 1961 and NIAC Community College, Mason City, IA with a legal secretary degree in 1973. She was united in marriage to Patrick D. Daly on February 22, 1975 in Clear Lake, IA. Carolyn was a homemaker and had worked as a legal secretary, and in the family businesses doing accounting and payroll. She had been a former member of Grace Lutheran Church. Carolyn enjoyed shopping, bird watching, baking, music, flower gardening, home decorating, watching and reading mysteries, and spending time with her family.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Patrick; three daughters, Amy (Stephen) Oliver of Austin, TX, Katherine Daly of New York, NY, Beth Daly of Boulder, CO; three grandchildren, Chris and Rachel Oliver, Isaac Abram Daly; mother-in-law, Freada Daly of Clear Lake, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
