Michael E. Kirchner, age 59 of St. Peter, died Saturday, May 22, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Church of St. Peter with Rev. Philip Schotzko officiating. Burial in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Church of St. Peter with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospice Program.

Michael was born February 22, 1945 in Heron Lake to Henry J. and Viola R. (Engler) Kirchner. He enjoyed traveling, Mystic Lake, and socializing with everyone.

Survivors include his mother, Viola Kirchner of rural St. Peter; eight siblings, Jerome (Bev) Kirchner of Loretto, Becky Schnieder and her fianc, Larry of Minneapolis, Dave and significant other, Nondice of Nicollet, Steven (Diane) Kirchner of Savage, Ken (Theresa) Kirchner of LeMars, IA, Dan (Pat) Kirchner of North Mankato, Deb (Mark) Johnson of LeSueur, Mark Kirchner of Port Murry, NJ; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, niece and nephew.
