Angela Marie Rosenhammer, age 67 of Mankato died Saturday, May 15, 2004 at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester as a result of a one car accident on Thursday, May 13.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Mankato, with Rev. John Wilmot officiating. Interment in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato. Visitation on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.
Mrs. Rosenhammer was born May 25, 1936 in Springfield to Matt and Eleanor (Lang) Turbes. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1954 and continued her education at Mankato Commercial College. She was united in marriage to Lee H. Rosenhammer on October 11, 1958 in Springfield.
Angela had been employed by the Mankato School District 77 since l986 and when she retired in 1999, she was in charge of the Media Center. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, C.C.W., Catholic Daughters and Y.W.C.A., where she had been a board member. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, fitness/health, nurturing her family, reading, but most of all was Lees personal secretary.
Angela is survived by her husband, Lee Rosenhammer; a daughter and husband, Cheryl and Frederick Fritz Bredenbeck of Edina; a son and his fianc, Brian Rosenhammer and Katherine White of Richfield; mother, Eleanor Turbes of Springfield; a brother and wife, Glen and Kathy Turbes of Willmar; a niece, Deb Jensen of Elk River; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Dennis and Mildred Rosenhammer, Patrick and Joan Rosenhamer all of Sleepy Eye.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2004.
