Iva Schultz

Iva J. Schultz, age 99,of Beauford, died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the Mankato House Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Decoria Township. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Beauford. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Iva was born Jan. 19, 1905 to Wesley and Ella (Cramer) Ward. She was united in marriage to Henry Schultz on Oct. 9, 1922. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and was a Gold Star mother.

She is survived by three sons, Gerald of Good Thunder, Robert and Ethel of Madelia, Wes and Marlene of St. Clair, one daughter, Delores (Tootie) Bumgarner of Minneapolis, one daughter-in-law, Lorraine Schultz of Mapleton; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Sellers of Mapleton; one brother, Ira Ward of Lake Wales, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; two sons, Wilbert and Floyd; one great-granddaughter; two daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; one brother, and two sisters.
