Greg A. Lillo, age 47 of North Mankato died Friday, January 21, 2011 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at North Mankato Mortuary - Northview. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the mortuary on Wednesday.

Greg Alan was born January 4, 1964 to Arnold and Janice (Plante) Lillo in Mankato. He graduated from Wellcome Memorial High School in Garden City. On June 1, 1985, Greg was united in marriage to Cassie Hiniker at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Mankato. Greg was a beloved son, husband, father and friend. He was employed at first in production then as a foreman at Jones Metal Products for fourteen years. He was also the owner of Midwest Tractor Tin where he fabricated metal into replicated antique tractor parts. Greg loved riding his Harley and his fishing trips to Alaska.

Greg is survived by his wife, Cassie and three children: Jamie Lynn Hiniker and her son, Jonathan, Cody (significant other, Thea) Lillo and Nikki Lillo, all of North Mankato; his parents: Arnold and Janice Lillo; brother, Mark (Shelly) Lillo and their son, Jeremiah and sister, Tammy Lillo, all of Good Thunder; parents-in-law: John and Rose Hiniker of Nicollet; the family cat, Bobby; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Greg was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Thomas Plante and Lucille Ostgard; paternal grandparents: Maurice and Alma Lillo; Uncle Joe; and aunt, Gail Lillo.
