Mankato, MN " Lila L. Miller age 72, of Mankato died Monday, May 10, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Evangelical Covenant Church in North Mankato with Rev. Mark Evinger officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to services at the church.

Lila was born June 9, 1931 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Victor and Ruby (Earp) Beasley. She graduated from Clarinda High School and received her nurses training at St. Lukes in Kansas City. On September 24, 1950, she married Lloyd Miller in Clarinda, Iowa. They lived in Iowa City, Clarinda, and Owatonna prior to their move to Mankato in 1960.

Lila and her husband, Lloyd started a flea market and swap shop in 1969. They continued the business as Save-Mor Jewelry and Antiques until 1978. Lila had been active in and attended Centenary United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Owatonna Mrs. Jaycees. She enjoyed playing bridge and shopping, but her lifes passion was her family.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd of Mankato; five children, Linda Adamson and husband, Kevin of Fairbanks, Alaska, Greg Miller and wife, Kay of Mankato, Dianne Davenport and husband, Bert of Bertha, Mike Miller of Mankato, Angel Hirdler and husband, Bob of Long Prairie; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Beasley and wife, Jonith of Florida, Don Beasley of Nebraska; uncle, Chet Earp of Missouri; brother-in-law, Leo Miller and wife, Lou of Iowa; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Andrew Todd Miller.
