LaVelle M Helder

LaVelle M. Helder, age 77, of Mankato, died Friday evening, May 7, 2004 at Immanuel " St. Josephs Hospital.

Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday at Mankato Mortuary with Pastor Ronald Spreng officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be one hour before services at Mankato Mortuary on Tuesday.

LaVelle Helder was born January 21, 1927 in Letcher, South Dakota to Joseph and Linda (Ruhberg) Dolly. She worked at K-Mart for over 17 years and also delivered the Auto Shopper to area stores for many years. She was a member of the VFW Morson " Ario Post # 9713 Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, bird watching, golf, and gardening.

She is survived by one son, Terry (Neoma) Feidt of Spokane, WA; one daughter, Dianne Stordahl of Mankato; four grandchildren, Kyle and Maegan Feidt, Charmaine (Brian) Jans, Scott (Kristine) Stordahl; three great-grandchildren, Ashely Wels, Cory Jans, and Tyler Stordahl; two sisters, Lola Vance of LaPorte, MN, Ethel Sens of Mankato; one brother, Orville (Lucy) Dolly of New Ulm; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, one brother, and two sisters.
