Leola Prange

Leola L. Prange, age 84 of Mankato died Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Mankato Lutheran Home.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Friday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Mary Iverson officiating. Interment in Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Mankato Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Friday. If so desired memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or an organizations of the donors choice.

Leola was born September 12, 1919 in Rapidan Township, Blue Earth Co., to John and Orpha(Rice) Frost. She was united in marriage to Ernest L. Prange on July 9, 1937 in Decoria Township, Blue Earth Co. Mrs. Prange was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Prange is survived by her three grandchildren, Steve and Nergis Petersen of Lakeville, Paul Petersen of Mankato, Kristin and Mike Stordahl of Hastings; eight great grandchildren, Jonathan, Mitchell and Brett Petersen, Kaya, Tijen and Arzu Petersen, Jeff and Jack Stordahl; brother and his wife, LeRoy and Nettie Frost of Mankato; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest in 1988; daughter, Juanita Petersen in 2000; and a grandson, Tyler Christian Petersen in 1992.
