Rita Anne Gonzalez

Rita Anne Gonzalez, 44, of Mankato died, Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital.

Memorial service 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mankato Mortuary with visitation one hour before. Interment in Calvary Cemetery in Blue Earth. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Rita was born December 3, 1959 to Arlene (Huffman) & Ramiro L. Gonzalez Sr. in St. Paul. She was raised in Blue Earth and graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1978. She moved to Mankato and had been employed by Harry Meyering Center. She was currently employed by Target and also as a resident manager for the Theresa House. Rita was an avid Twins and Vikings fan as well as being a Bingo Queen. She was a great sister, friend, and helper to many.

She will be sadly missed by her siblings, Dianne (Jose) Diaz of Inver Grove Heights, Tina (Jim) Murn of Twin Valley, Lisa (Jim) Zuehlke of Windom, Ramiro Gonzalez Jr. of Blue Earth, Juan Adams of Winnebago, Cynthia Banks of Richfield, Gilbert (Lisa) Gonzalez of South St. Paul, Tammy Gonzalez of West St. Paul; 12 nieces; 6 nephews; 2 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; special friends, Jeanette Gimmer, Beata Kotkiewicz & many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
