Dorinda Chabot

Dorinda Therese Chabot, 63, of North Mankato, died at her home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a time to visit with the family following services. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.

Dorinda was born September 20, 1940 in Minneapolis to Otto and Deloris (Burns) Hagen. She graduated from Minneapolis High School. On May 14, 1960, she married Oscar Ozzie Chabot at Corcoran, Minnesota. They later divorced. Dorinda previously lived in the Minneapolis area, Kasota, and Mankato before moving to North Mankato. Dorinda had worked for ADC Products in St. Peter; the Mankato Free Press; and most recently for Perfecseal. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, reading, and rosary making.

Survivors include six children, Dale Chabot of Cleveland, Cindy (Tim) Teske of Winona, Rachel Coughlan of Mankato, Mike (Linda) Chabot of Kasota, Joan (Brian) Streit of Mankato, David Chabot of Owatonna; 23 grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; 10 siblings, Pat (Dale) Patnode of Minneapolis, Dolores (Richard) Ellison of Blaine, Larry (Rita) Hagen of Crystal, Mike (Lynn) Hagen of Bertha, MaryRita (Ray) Pearson of Anoka, Tim (Cheryl) Hagen of Loretto, Debbie (Ed) Erlichman of Holdingford, Maureen (Tom) Egert of Avon, Joe (Beth) Hagen of St. Michael; nieces, nephews, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Kevin, and an infant nephew, Joseph.
