Donald L. Thompson, age 51, of Sheldon, IA formerly of Lake Crystal died Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at his home.
Services 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 2, 2004 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Sheldon, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be two hours before services at the funeral home. A second service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Lake Crystal Mortuary, with Rev. John Wilmot officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Lake Crystal.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Thompson; children, Adam Thompson and Katie Thompson; mother, Gen Thompson of Lake Crystal; two sisters and their husbands, Jane and Jack Rupert of New Ulm, Diane and Mark Gray of St. Bonifacius; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold in 2000.
