Gloria J Lilly

Gloria J. Lilly, age 63, Lake Crystal died Monday, March 29, 2004 at her home.

Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lake Crystal, with Rev. James Holthus officiating. Interment in Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Lake Crystal Mortuary and one hour before services at church on Friday. If so desired memorials may be given to organization of the donors choice.

She was born December 31, 1940 in Mankato to Richard and Flossie (Church) Moon. She graduated from Lake Crystal High School. She was united in marriage to Walter Lilly on January 8, 1961 in Lake Crystal. She worked for 28 years at Kraft Foods in New Ulm. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lake Crystal, John Roth American Legion Auxiliary and the Mankato Moose Club. Gloria enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and family; other interests were visiting area casinos, country music, rodeos and doing cross word puzzles. She wrote many poems for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Lilly of Lake Crystal, children, Rick (Dawn) Lilly of Lake Crystal, Rod (Kim) Lilly of Mankato, Ronald Lilly of Cleveland, Jennifer Lilly of Lake Crystal; six grandchildren; a sister, Alene (Willard) Pettersen of Lake Crystal; four brothers, Edward (Ione) Moon of Plainview, Darrell (Betty) Moon and Merrill (Beverly) Moon all of Tuscon, AZ, Duane (Val) Erickson of Lake Crystal; sisters-in-law, Avis Moon, Veronica Moon and Roberta Moon and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
